There comes a time where you have to leave some certain circle of friends at some point in your life. Usually, it's always not an easy moment to forgo just like that. Spending lots of years together as friends and as well mingle with other kinds of people to share experiences together. This however at some point will come to an end. And it's nobody’s fault. It's just life happening to everybody which you don’t have power over.
Incidents like these will often be found among students during school days and then the separation happens right after graduation. Then everyone faces the reality of life where you don’t get to see each other often again.
Since no one has control over the reality of life, no one powerful enough to change the situation, then we resort to the part we have control over and is also capable of connecting everyone together again just like in the past. And I think this is what breeded the idea of REUNION.
I’ve had a couple of reunions in the past with my friends before. But I think the most remarkable one among them all still remains the one I attended 7 years ago with my secondary school colleagues. Infact, the day I met with most of the guys in attendance that day was the last time we have physically met each other even till date. We still have a channel of communication but it can’t be as fun as meeting physically with each other.
We were still fresh secondary school kiddos, so we only had as much fun as we could back then. There were cocktails, soft drinks, pepper soup sauce, games, and music. And it's so funny that as I sit to write this prompt, I still rack my head to remember many other things that happened on that day. Asides that, the most fun part I still recall was when people started acting up and some guys were trying to get high on alcohol drinks. The idea behind this was we were trying to be grown up adults since we are now out of school. And some prove to be the adult they claim while others who participated were intoxicated and were transported home.
Although it's such a woeful thing for me that this is the only part I could possibly recall out of the whole event. It's been 7+ years by the way and it appears that I do not have retentive memory.
