RE: LIVING AS A STUDENT

Well, to tell the truth, I didn't expect you (or any other Nigerian) to say that the cost of living is quite fair. My love, the prices of goods and services are… three to four times higher than they were two years ago. Well, thank God we are financially capable to some extent of settling these bills. I guess that's why it is “quite fair.” But, really, the economy is not friendly.

It is best to prepare your food by yourself. Like you, beans and soups are my go-to “friends.” They help me a lot. However, sometimes I eat out mostly because of school stress.

Although things are not good, I'm glad we have what it takes to settle our bills.

Thanks for sharing, love.

The truth is, we are growing on every side. When I talk about my cost of living, I compare it to how much I earn or my parents earn. I remember that for those years when we saw things as fair, we could barely save up anything tangible but now that it seems like things are way harder, we have better savings.

And besides, I see it as fair because when I compare it to others, I’m doing really well. And like I said, it all boils down to good planning. No matter how little or much we earn, with good planning it will be just fine. The problem is, we most times don’t plan (excluding those things we just can’t plan for).

And yes, thank God that even as the economy seems hard, he is providing just what we need to survive through. 🥰

Thank you so much for reading through, love. ❤️

Indeed, the importance of good planning cannot be overemphasized. Things are not easy anywhere, we just need to plan and make good use of our resources.

This is another proof that God is good.

It’s my pleasure.
