RE: Creating A Supportive Environment For Elderly Loved Ones

Good morning, Favey.

Reading through your post, I just realized that I ignored one part of the prompt and I guess that’s because it’s totally unacceptable to me. Taking my parents to a care home is a no no. Those help will be the one to come to my parents.

And yes, it all depends on what works for us and for our parents too. The goal is to make sure they are comfortable and well taken care of. 🤗

Hey there, Hopey. You answered the prompt well.
Bringing people to help is also a very good idea. However, we need to be careful about this. I’ve heard stories of how mischievous they can be.

Thanks for stopping by.

If for any reason I will need an extra hand, it doesn’t mean I will leave all the work for them, it will only be for the time when I just can’t be available. And luckily for me, I have other siblings too. My response was just on the worst case scenario, I doubt that will be my case.

Although, most times, people use other family members to help not just strangers. But that doesn’t determine their safety too.

Yes boss. You know, right now I’m looking forward to how better I can take care of my parents when they can no longer take care of themselves. 🥹
