Hello everyone, welcome to the Hive Learner's Creative Sunday initiative on this beautiful Easter Sunday. I will take this opportunity to wish every member of this blockchain a happy Easter celebration.
I have been learning a few things about raising birds lately, feed formulation, treating diseases/infection, and it's been super fun. I came across a video on how to create different types of bird feeders and drinkers, which is what they eat and drink from.
These suspendable feeders caught my attention, and I really love how they were created. The thought of making one just to try yesterday crossed my mind, and I swung into action since I have the things I can use around me.
The best part of this is that the main materials needed for these are waste. A lot of us have waste plastic lying around in the house, so building a feeder for your birds shouldn't be a problem.
It is a very simple process, and I believe small bird owners can actually make this feeder at home.

The holes serve as the place where the bird feed will pass through out of the storage into the ice cream plastic holding the feed. When the birds are eating, the storage automatically dispenses feed into the feed holder but ensure they are small so the feed doesn't just rush out and spill over.

I covered the plastic bottle with the cover, which is already attached to the ice cream container, and the bird feeder was ready.

To test it, I filled the feeder and gently hung it in my bird's cage. It's actually too small for them, but it worked.

Now I can think of getting bigger plastics to create my bird feeders while I hang this one on a guava tree outside my house, since I have many tiny birds perching on it to eat the fruits.
I hope you learned something from the post, feel free to share you bird feeder diy if you have any... Cheers.

Happy Easter to you

I came across a video of how the real feeder was made and I thought it can be achieved with even waste containers.
I am definitely making more before my bird comes so I won't need to purchase feeders and drinkers any more.

Wow this is creativity at it's peak and you did an excellent job , making this looks definitely hard but still you persisted and your final result is amazing. Well done and keep it up
Honestly, the procedure didn't take up to ten minutes except that I was snapping pictures. It might look difficult but it's very simple, you can give it a try if you have birds.
This is a really creative piece. Nice one
Thanks Becky, it's really simple doing that and I will definitely share a post when I make the bigger one.
Okay
Impressive, there is so much we can do with most things we consider as waste, it's just having creative thinking just as you have done with these feeders. Well done!
A lot of things feel like a waste but they aren't. If we look around very well, many of these things can serve purposes we didn't even think of.
Ooh, genial. Perfecto para los que queremos comenzar criando pollitos sin tener mucho presupuesto. Lo harΓ©,.muchas gracias por la idea!
How incredibly industrious of you! And your birds look super happy! It would be interesting to see what birds you attract by hanging these in the trees! Well done on recycling and being so industrious!
