A concise personal reflection here. My response..
it was a different regret. I was fighting everything listed above, on top of a fragile health anatomy.
Apart from your health challenges which am really sorry about, you are in good company with me. My beginning was so humble that I had to attended afternoon primary school, so that I could hawk during morning hours. I had to sell in the same school compound where I attend(school I, mine is school II). So you can get a little glimpse of how it began for me. It was a terribly rough path up.
we risk health because of wealth
I think few do it consciously, some people like those in my humble beginning are driven into that situation by economic forces. I think the largest number ignore their health for money because of ignorance. Until they feel headache or fever, they are fine. No need for checkup or any other healthcare efforts.
I was a product of people who never understood selflessness and sacrifice.
Hahahaha, my story in this regard is huge. But I take a positive from it. I now display these traits of sacrifice and selflessness because I really suffered for not being a recipient of these very rare qualities.
Health and health are two parallel lines that must converge somewhere. Where they will converge is indeed a dilemma for many. But if we are a little conscious and hope our efforts make things fall into place, we are able to balance them sooner than later.

Wow that must have been really defining for you... I mean I was even beginning to imagine how it felt attending the same school where you normally sell. It feels so surreal and wow, what an experience. In my own situation, sometimes I feel too overwheled to even go into details. I wasn't just in lack but I was also fighting to stay alive to fight the lack. It wasn't something I cherished, it toughened me in all aspects of life.
I think this is probably the reason why we're now living a life that would entail sacrificing so others can at least enjoy the dividends of the efforts we've left them. It is safe to say that if I have kids, it'll be totally different with them.
Balance is Indeed the ultimate thing. I do feel that sometimes, not a lot of people achieve this balance because they lose out along the way. It's crazy to see the things we're willing to sacrifice in other to make money. It's really crazy.
Thanks for the detailed reply.

Its not really easy what we have passed through, I think it made us build and sustain the kind of personality needed for life. And striving each day to achieve balance will remain an ongoing effort. Thanks for all you do to support me and many others. Isn't that what life should all about?
