In The Holiday Spirit.

I was in my house enjoying the comfort of my home when my dad and mom started calling me, "Demola, when will you come home for holiday? Won't you visit us for Christmas?" this and this and that and that. As a good son, I thought to myself, It wouldn't be bad to visit them and start my holiday right away because it feels like every day is already a holiday for me since I work from home, but my holiday is never complete without having my favorite people around.

As much as I am home with my parents and siblings, my holiday has started.

I have never celebrated my Christmas holiday outside our home before; even when I traveled to other states, I always found my way home to meet with my siblings and parents because my holiday is not complete without them. It has been years since I have seen my little brother and sister, and Christmas is the only time we get to be together and talk about life and experience.

There is one of my siblings who always wants me around during holidays so she can spend my money, and her name is Ifeoluwa. We were like cats and rats when growing up, but right now, we are like 5 and 6. Baby Sis will always give me random calls to check on me, which is why I can't wait to see her.

During the holiday, most of my friends who I grew up with will come from different states just to spend the holiday with their parents (I guess it's because we are not married yet), but we always look forward to this day. Sometimes, we begin to call each other to get to know the people that are around; this is the holiday I always look forward to too.

My boss is a very kind man; he loves holidays too, and he has been looking forward to them. I noticed in the past few days that he hasn't been completing much of the normal amount of tasks he used to assign to me. I do not want to ask him so he wouldn't add to it, yet I want to act like a serious fellow, so today I asked him why he hasn't even assigned any task to me and he said, "We are preparing for the holiday."

He is preparing our gift already, and since he is doing that, let me start preparing other people's gifts too so we all can have a great holiday. I plan to buy baby @nhaji01 a house as she requested, and she promised to get me a private jet. What is a holiday without a gift from loved ones?
