ORGAN DONATION IS A CHOICE

Source

I don't think the government should take the sole responsibility for mandating the citizens to donate organ especially those that died. In as much as it has great significance that doesn't mean that it should be made compulsory

Organ donation should be made based on freewill and not any compulsory basis. This would go along way to help balance certain things. We are living in a time where the social status of people must be balanced in order not to create any prejudice or bias in the hearts of the people.

The different categories of people must be identified and considered in any plans. Imagine the government makes it compulsory for organs to be donated, how would it be on the poor? The rich would buy and buy even buy the entire cemetery just to ensure that organs are saved. This would not balance events at all. That's why making it optional would give equal opportunities to every citizen to make sacrifices at will.

Even if the government would want to remove any organ, it's expedient that the owners of such organs should be consulted and memo of understanding be established before anything is done.
I wouldn't want a situation where the government would just use her vector power to get what they want. If there is such collaboration then people would even give more than what is expected.

Removing organs from healthy ones by the government might not necessarily be a bad idea but it effects could pose lots of challenges. My candid opinion is that the government should take time and organise sensitisation or awareness to the general public concerning organ donation. If the citizens accept it then they proceed with necessary actions. In the nutshell, citizens should be informed and we'll educated before any process or law is enshrined.

The cases of organ transplant has been occurring almost every day. Finding solutions to curb is very important however other people's interest should be considered.

There was a man that lived in my town. He had challenge with his health and needed a change of a particular organ. They tried all they could but all efforts proof abortive. They couldn't get a sizeable and compatible organ to fit him. After a while, he couldn't survive it. Had it been it was legislated I know they would have just visited somewhere and acquired another organ.

The long term effects it would bring if the government makes it compulsory for organs to be donated include both negative and positive impact. It could pose fear on the people. When organs are donated, it would save many generations ahead.

In my state of reasoning, what would it profit a death person with a rightful organ that could be introduced to a an I that is not healthy so that his life can be resuscitated? If an organ is buried, hmmm it hasn't solved any problem therefore it won't be out of place to beckoned on others who have such to donate inorder to save life.

If I were to be highly placed and influential, I will ensure that good organs that could save life is not just buried and wasted in the grave but properly used.

Thanks for reading my entry for week 135 edition 2 on this beautiful community.

Donation should be something of choice and never imposed on anyone, it should be free will and I think many people will love to save lives knowing that they left a legacy.
