It's another beautiful weekend and lovely to share my view again on this platform. It's been quite an amazing time. Special thanks to all the management crew for their efforts in good delivery like this. I want to equally appreciate all the participants for being faithful and committed to this noble course. Today was quite challenging because i went on different errands to ensure that i put smiles on humanity.

One of the challenging factors that I have ever seen in my life and country is in the area of health. When you are not healthy, hmmm you're not wealthy. Health is key 🗝️ . The health sector in my country is not funny because there are varied experiences. The present health facility we have is not synonymous to what we had many years back. There is a drop in quality of things. I think there's need to establish balance between the facility and the people to handle it. This sector ought to be one of the outstanding and highly respected one but reverse is the case with the present government.
In as much as the government is investing heavily in this sector yet there are people who don't give in their best to measure up with what is expected of them to do.

I was told of the kind of health facility we had many years ago where people were treated free of charge. As at the, there were more qualified doctors which could attend to people's need but not in the present time. The present health practitioner we have don't focus on the life of a patient instead what will be their returns. How much would they make money. This is one of the sole reasons that makes them place demands on the government to pay them or increase their salaries. The health practitioner want to be the highest set of government staff that received big salaries compared to others. The big question Still remains who taught or raised them to be doctors? Is it not teachers? I think instead of engaging on strike, is better for teachers to receive more. Before the emergence of doctor, there was a teacher.

When doctor or medical personnel go on strike because of good payment from the government, a lot of things goes on wrong. I remembered one the long strike that took place in my locality where most secondary hospitals were closed. People died anyhow because there weren't health personnel to attend to them. Some patients died while others Managed to prevailed.

Going on strike does not help matters rather it worsen it. Health personnel should know and value the lives of people. I think they are supposed to be given their entitlement this would curb the issue of some of them leaving the country to look for greener pastures in abroad. When you check out how much some of them make in abroad it can't be compared to what the nigerian government gives them. This is one of the reasons they revolt so that they will be like others. This will reduce the rate of strike action by medical personnel.
