For week 180 edition 2 comes with another amazing theme. The topic says first aid. From my elementary science, I have been taught that first aid is the treatment administered first before the arrival of a professional medical personnel. First aid is the concern given to a victim of an accident or hazard before being taken to the clinic or hospital for proper medical attention.

This is not the real treatment given rather it is just an aid that would help to reduce the pressure of any kind of pain or to salvage the situation before it aggravates to an uncontrollable condition.
The big question that could be resonating in many people's hearts is that first aiders are special people designed somewhere to cater for victims of accidents, incidence or any injured individual before proceeding to a better facility.

A first aider is that individual that takes care of an injured person. Everyone is supposed to be a first aider despite the kind of course studied. It's expedient that one learns the basic working principle of a good first aider. You can't tell what would happen next.
There are Virtues that a first aider must possess for effectiveness and efficiency. The first vital virtue I considered very important is good heart. Have an open heart with empathy that you can easily show love to someone out there. I have heard severally from different people that they can't put their hand into blood neither would they be able to perform function like medical personnel.

Another virtue is that a first aider must be patient. There are different kinds of individuals with different kind of mindset and believe system. There are some injury situations that requires ones simplicity and humility.
You need to be careful so that in case the victim has cut and you rendering such service too is having a cut it could lead to transfer of one disease to another.
You can't predict when an ugly incident might occur therefore just work with such consciousness in case anything happens you should be ready to give your quota.

The first aid should have a box that contains some items like iodine, scissors ✂️, bondages, spirit, hydrogen peroxide, Panadol etc. It should be kept very close in a house. If it's in a house it's advisable to have it. I could remember the house I visited few weeks ago, it has a good first aid box stationed in the sitting room of the house.
First aid box is very important in every organization, church, mosques and even buses.

There was a day when I was traveling to one place in the evening. We met a vehicle that summersault and landed upside down. We noticed that nobody died but the three of them sustained fatal injuries. Before our driver stopped, the communards started attending the casualties by fanning them to resuscitate them. While others were trying to tie the areas where blood was gushing out much. That's a good attitude of first aid.

I have helped in several occasions before a victim or injured person was rushed to the hospital. I have had several cuts on my hand by knife 🔪 and used rope to cover it. I have never handled a respiratory system issue but I have fan some people to revive them.
