Creating balance environment for children adoption with rules or not

picture is mine

The third edition comes with another trending theme which has to do with adoption of a child. At first I lack how to start this entry but after moment of brainstorming, I was able to put the following in order. Before I proceed with this, let me quickly define the basic term. Adoption is one of the ways which a child is given a better chance of better life. Children in the globe live in orphanages and unstable environment without love and insecurity ravaging everywhere.

These and many factors that contributed to children being rendered homeless. The process of adopting a child is very long, expensive which requires lots of rules and regulations. Many because of this say that these rules should be reduced so that one could easily adopt a child. Whereas others debate this. Let me share some significance of strict adoption rules.

One major reason why adoption is strict is because children are vulnerable to many things. Adoption is not like buying a product or completing a simple transaction. It is a lifelong responsibility that affects the emotional, physical, educational, and psychological future of a child. If there's no rules some children could end up in homes where they would be neglected, abused and emotionally destroyed. In such situations, adoption would fail to serve its true purpose. Therefore, strict regulations are necessary because they place the child’s safety above everything else.

In as much as these rules are very important but some adoption system is slow and difficult. Sometimes the government policy could cost one a year before you legally pick a child and adopt. The paperwork, legal fees, repeated interviews, and bureaucratic delays discourage many good-hearted people from adopting.

One problem again about stringent requirements before adoption is that some adoption agencies may reject people because of age, blood group, financial status, perhaps housing conditions even though their character is good. This may used to reduce the rate of potential adoptive parents hence these children end up in orphanages for longer periods.

should adoption rules be relaxed?

If adoption process process is made without stress may encourage more people to delve into adoption. Simplifying paperwork, reducing unnecessary delays, lowering excessive fees, and improving transparency would help deserving families complete the process more easily. More children would then have the opportunity to grow up in loving homes instead of institutions.

However, completely relaxing the rules would not necessarily be a good thing. If authorities stop carefully screening adoptive parents, some individuals may adopt children for the wrong reasons. Cases of child labor, trafficking, abuse, and exploitation could increase. Since adopted children often come from painful backgrounds already, placing them into unsafe homes would only worsen their suffering.

In conclusion
Adoption is a beautiful opportunity to transform the life of a child by giving them love, stability, and hope for the future. While the current adoption process is often too long and demanding, strict regulations exist for an important reason: the safety and wellbeing of children. Making the system completely less stringent could expose vulnerable children to abuse and exploitation, which would defeat the purpose of adoption itself. There should be a balance.
Thanks.
