A LIE AND EXCUSE WHICH ONE IS JUSTIFIABLE?

Considering the theme for this edition, i would like to briefly share light in some of the basic concepts. A lie is any statement made by someone that is misleading or that is not truth. A lie is a statement that is false and has no element of truthfulness. A lie comes with a serious consequences. The more you lie it affects even your personality and entire being. Lie is not good at all and I detest it.
Lie can be contradictory and very confusing even though sometimes is coated with lots of things however a lie is a lie.

I'm quite sure no human being is really perfect before the Lord. We are all striving and moving towards perfection. All human beings tel lie at one point or the otherIn an attempt to do that, we are bound to make mistakes even though some could be intentional but is never a yardstick to propagate lie. We are in the world with different belief systems and attitudes towards certain reality. Sometimes what is conventionally accepted as a means of life could be unacceptable in another kingdom. I think there are common ground where one could establish certain things as a basis.

There are different factors that necessitates people to do different things at a particular time. To every lie there's consequences and one could easily. There is no any time that is acceptable for telling lies but the most Important thing is the factor that surrounds it. What led to such event?
The matter of lie being justified as either an excuse or a lie doesn't exist within my jurisdiction. I don't have all capacity to enumerate all the available or possible sin. One of the challenges I have is to differentiate between a lie or an excuse. There are certain excuses that are sugar coated but then it's pure lie. Sometimes lie sounds sweet and gain more acceptability than truth in itself.
Sometimes there are difficult situation where it takes the grace of God to come out and if you don't use wisdom, you may end up killing yourself. As the situation appears to you, that would determine the kind of step you would take.

I remembered a man from the Bible who had a beautiful wife worth to behold. It happened that there famine in the land where he was. To cushion the event he sent his wife to another place in order to look for food and other things. He told her not to disclose her identity as his wife so that she would gain favor. When the king of the other place noticed her as someone's wife he wasn't happy again.
What rationale would we use to justify this as either lie or a mere excuse? It's very difficult for me to draw this conclusion.

Let me say lie depends on who say it and motive behind it. There are times i lie unconsciously later when i realized it, I pray to God and ask for forgiveness. All humans have lied at one point or the other. Is possible even participating in this contest you say a lie...lie can be justified based on the reasons or circumstances around.
