A JOURNEY TOWARDS A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

Thank God is another beautiful Friday again. I don't know why the weather suddenly changed for me. I had to use socks yesterday night. I don't know how is the state of weather in your area now. It has always been a great privilege to put forth my entry as we keep developing ourself to be better.

The theme for this edition is quite amazing and I think suit into the present time we are into now. The theme says a healthy environment. Before I proceed, I would like to say that environment is surrounding that makes life beautiful for human. Environment is a surrounding that constitutes of biotic component which includes all living things, plants etc and the abiotic components which constitutes of the non- living things like stone, paper etc.

My idea of a healthy environment should be a place or surrounding where there are lots of factors that enhance both human and non human life enjoyable. An ideal environment should be a place where there are lots of opportunities.
A healthy environment is an environment that is cleaned and devoid of pollution. It's expedient that environment or planet should be kept cleaned. It's said that cleanliness is next to godliness. When an environment is cleaned it will prevent diseases from breeding on dirty areas. For instance, mosquito lives in water logged areas and when there is poor waste management plan. In this raining season, if you don't take care of the environment it could easily become a habitat for reptiles and other dangerous animals.

A healthy environment is a place where everything is healthy. A healthy environment is a place where there's tranquility and peace. Wherever there's peace, certainly there would be progress and everyone rejoices. A peaceful environment is where people enjoy their relationship and live in harmony. Actually this kind of setting is hard to have it in the country where I live. People are living under one tension or the other because of insurgence and banditry.

A healthy environment is an environment where the leadership system is well structured and there is sacrifice, development and peace. What corrupts and bring negative impact on environment today is the kind of leadership system we have. Most leaders today aren't sacrificial, don't care about others rather all their might is just on themselves and how to loot things for their selfish gains.

A healthy environment is an environment where the educational sector is sound and loaded with trained, certified teachers who are diligent to their work. Malpractice is not known and every student tries to work hard to be the best.

Is my environment healthy? Hmmmm we aren't perfect but working towards perfection. A healthy environment might not be an ideal environment because I see healthy environment as an environment that could have weaknesses but strives daily to be better. My environment is in the process of becoming healthy.

I'm trying my best to give my quota towards the development of my environment. I try to engage the young people into positive conversations for better implementation of policies. It's possible to have a healthy environment. All hands must be desk to ensure this.
A healthy is possible and it begins with me and you by doing the right thing.
