I agree that taxing harmful products can help reduce consumption, but it must be backed by genuine efforts like improving healthcare, making healthy options affordable, and supporting those who want to quit. Otherwise, it might feel more like punishment than protection.

Yea that's the best way to go about it, without those things put in place, the implementation won't be effective.
