I absolutely agree with you @vickoly, the effect od overpopulation on the globe must not be overemphasized. But then, the problem of those of us in Nigeria and other understanding country / under developed country is more of the system than development. Lots of things need to be taken care of first before the population issue.

I think it can be done concurrently, in not each improvement or developing will still fall short of the numbers of people it can go round too.
