RE: Good But Not Lucky: A Memorable President's Reign

President Yar'adua of blessed memory is someone that we would always tell our children and children's children about. That man had plans for Nigeria, his leadership format is something that should be studied in school.

He was neither for this side or that side, everyone was his own. His major concern was to make Nigeria a better place, sadly, he died along the line. Truly, Good people don't last.

President Good-luck Johnathan did something that I am not sure we would witness again for a very long time in the country. For the first time in history, a man in power conceded defeat not for a selfish interest but for peace to reign. To date, I am still imagining the kind of man he is.

I am glad that even after giving up the seat, he got rewarded and was given the position of a peace ambassador for possessing such a rare quality.

Yar’adua deserves the applaud accorded him. He should be a subjectbif study indeed when political leadership is talked about. Once again, it was sad, his demise. The good ones seem to not really last.

Goodluck on the other hand came in amd upheld the system. That certain act will always be remembered, and yes, it was great to see him rewarded for that. I wonder when we will see something like that again.
