The idea is great but people always corrupt such good initiatives. To help these days, one has to verify a lot of things. Personally, I have never participated in crowdfunding activities online, it just doesn't sit right with me.. I prefer to access the victim and let them have whatever I have, it quite sad that most times you reach the victim...
Well, if we must help, we must learn to let go of the fear that our gifts might not reach the victim.. just give and let it go

I completely agree with your thoughts and the realities.
If we continue to live in fear, we will end up not assisting anyone. But your suggestions are valid to scrutinise and find a way of reaching out to the person in need if possible 🤔
