RE: From Childhood Accidents to Lifelong Lessons: My First Aid Story

That's one ordinary, but warmest to the heart story. I personally felt it touches me as I have my similar "first" first aid incident when I was a kid running downhill losing control, scraping my left knee on a zinc plate at my father's buddy's farm house. Blood was spraying out fast and I started crying and screaming. Dad's friend's daughter came to the rescue, carrying a full size first aid box. Gloves on, cutting my pants.... Oh my... Sista be gentle... I'm a virgin yo... Probably the best anesthetic I've received in my life... Applying pressure on my thigh to limit blood flow, cleaning up the wounds, applying betadine, then finally a huge bandage on the cut wound. ๐Ÿคฃ I'm not exactly sure if I felt the crush more that time, but now I remember that first aid box she uses to save my life ๐Ÿ˜†

Yeap. Our dads are real close buddies. My dad passed away last November, her dad passed away in June 2 weeks ago, the month my dad's birthday ๐Ÿ˜‚ so the dads are actually having a good time together I guess.

We haven't seen each other for more than 20 years after she got married in Indonesia ๐Ÿ˜€
