The desire of possibly every human is for this “perfect world.” A world where things are going smoothly. There's no hunger, illness, poverty, or so. A world without these could virtually be the desire of every human. Perhaps, the world was meant to be so, but we can clearly see and say it isn't. It's nothing close to that even. Go into social media and you'll see tons of news about the same things we detest.
You know, I do think sometimes. And in those thoughtful moments, I try to conceive a world in my imagination that is void of all the vices we're plagued with in our world, for a “perfect world” full of happiness, love, peace and humanity. Like, why can't we just have a world where things are in order and everything flows well like a gentle stream? Or was the world destined for such “imperfection?”

This kind of takes me back to some childhood thoughts, where we believed that if things had gone well in the world after the creation of man and woman, then we wouldn't be facing some of these issues we have. Hunger won't be there, nor illnesses, poverty, social vices, wars and so on. Somehow, it aligns with this prompt, because they all boil down to a “perfect world.”
In the event of a “perfect world,” would the resultant effect rub on our desire to achieve individual growth? I mean, if the world is all okay; we have all we need, materially and otherwise, we have a government throughout the world that cares for its people, would people see the need for individual growth? Well, maybe and maybe not. “Maybe not,” because things are okay, and we don't have to do much to gain some things or we don't have any obstacles to scale. Life could be just, okay.
However, here's the “maybe.” What does individual growth really mean? While it could be a means to an end that will see a person become successful in life, I see it as a life-changing and impactful process. The processes as well as the results matter. We might not need individual growth to scale obstacles that wouldn't be there in such a world, but we just might need it for a more productive living, with others.

Personal development and other indirect nonprofit interpersonal and intrapersonal skills are important to develop. The “perfect world” is a world where things are okay; none of the aforementioned vices are present. Nevertheless, it isn't a world that would tame humans. The “perfect world” doesn't automatically mean the absence of friction between them. Hence, a necessity to grow, individually. Also, we find utmost satisfaction in living our purpose in life, which is a process that requires individual growth. Thus, the need for it.
While I would love to see this perfect world, I think the definition of a “perfect world” could be far-fetched for humanity. This is because as humans, there's always that tendency to stir things up. And can we say perfection would dwell with beings who are not perfect in their own sense? We are emotional beings, and somehow, at the trigger of our emotions, we could do some things that will affect the balance of the “perfect world” we would have had. The world isn't perfect. Perhaps it was meant to be perfect, or rather, this perfect imperfection that we have.
Images are mine.
No matter how good the world becomes, learning and improving oneself will always be essential.
Yes. I agree with you.
Thank you.
I will agree with the latter.
We live in an imperfect world. Was it meant to be like this? I can't say but all I know is that individual growth is not hinged on perfectionism.
The ability to navigate the pressures of life and still be humane is a high mark of individual growth.
That's true. Growth shouldn't be hinged on such.
Wow, that's insightful. Thanks for the comment.
You're welcome
Thank you.
You are right dear if things were done well by the first man and woman we would have been in the perfect world but no matter how good people might try to make this world perfect they can't do it because is not on their hand to so.
Yeah, we can't make it so.
Thank you!
You are welcome dear
