You have a point. If so many regulations are placed to limit the risk of harm the athletes will face, it will take away the very thing that attracts the audience. Humans will always have a soft spot when it comes to contact Sport.

Exactly. I think that’s what fascinates the audience... humans have this love for risk, and without it, the appeal of contact sports would drastically decrease
