For a lot of us, the childhood we have are also what inspires us to create better for our kids. Knowing what the absence of your father did to you, you'd never want any child of yours go through something similar, hence you'll always want to be present so they'll always know they're loved and needed.
These things will always take root and many times, we won't notice their effect until we're adults and with kids of our own.
Exactly. Maybe if I hadn't felt this pain, I would never know how hard it is not to have a father around. That motivates me to be a great father and always be present in my child's life. I would never let distance or any obstacle take that away from them.
