Before I die
A bucket list is simply a list of what one wants to achieve during one’s lifetime. More like top priorities amongst other things.
Before I proceed, may I reiterate that I got to know about the bucket list through a movie. The man was sick and had a short time to live, so he made a bucket list of the fun things he would want to do before his death day as he had minimal time to live.
Whenever I hear about bucket list it just makes me feel someone is about to die and therefore has come up with what they want to do especially things that’s fun before their demise even though it may not be like that. I know we will all die someday but as for me, I am not dying yet.
Anyways, there are things I’d really love to do in my life time and here I will say the three of them maybe not in the order of preference but the most important is that I’d love the three to be achieved by me.
One on the list is that I would love to visit the burg Khalifa in Dubai UAE. The burg khalifa is the tallest building in the world and it had a hotel in it called the Armani hotel designed by Giorgio Armani. Yea, the popular one we all know.
I used to fantasize on how I’d love to sleep in its top most floor as I learnt the building goes up way high I to the sky. On research though, I learnt that most of the top most floors are used to office, private apartments and sight seeing.
Whatever it is, I would just love to be in the top most and also see to the fact that I have my fill in their sight seeing restaurants and whatever they have to offer. Well, I’d love to lodge in their most expensive room which on research I learnt it’s about $10,000-$15,000 which is about 15 million naira for a night in my countries currency.
Well, not so bad for a bucket list. At least I’d have satisfied my craving and life long dream of doing the burg Khalifa and all the fantasies it has to offer.
The second on the list is to visit the Dead Sea and fall into it. Dead Sea? Why? The Dead Sea is a sea that’s located inbetween Jordan and Israel. It is one of the deepest places on earth surface said to be about 430 meters below sea level.
The sea is said to be ten times salty than the normal ocean water and hence no living thing can survive in it hence it’s called the Dead Sea. People go to fall into it and float in it because of the salt density is has. So I want to fall into and and float and also use it mud for beauty treatment.
Another of my bucket list is to visit Las Vegas. It’s called the land of second chances. I have heard of all the beauty that Las Vegas holds. BeSide the ones I’ve seen in movies, I look forward to seeing all the beauty in it that make it a land of second chance.
So Las Vegas, Dead Sea and the burg Khalifa here I come. The top three things in my bucket list and they are all for fun. What’s life without some fun? What do you think about my bucket list?
