Last session, we hosted the 19th session of the Connect, Learn and Earn Podcast on X (Formerly Twitter) through the Hive Learners Account.
The session started at 3 p.m. GMT+1, and we had quite a number of people that attended the session.
In the meeting, we had @bipolar @rare-gem @adedoyin-g @psalmmy264 and @creativepearl who participated by sharing their post and talking about them in the podcast.

This post talks about her daughter who is beautiful, intelligent and also knows her way of asking things from her mother. The whole story is about the little girl wanting to have her ear pierced just like her friends, and her mother answered that she should meet up first with her father for approval. The little girl did not take it seriously and knew that her father would not accept the request. The talk on the show covered how well we can train our children, correct them, and also know how to communicate what we want to them.

Rare-gem talked about mixed-sex school and same-sex schools. She shared her personal experience with mixed-sex schools, as that was the type of school she attended. She mentioned that this type of school teaches students how to interact with people of the opposite gender and not partake in any immoral activities. She shared a personal experience of someone she knows whose parents sent her to a single-sex school in order to keep her from any immoral activities but things turned out differently or even worse than they feared. Their daughter participated in lesbian activities and, surprisingly, came back home pregnant.

Adedoyin came up on space to appreciate the mother she has and shared with us how her mother had been there for her in times that may seem uncomfortable. How much her mother had sacrificed for her and how much she had learned from her mother. She shared moments when her mother would encourage her not to be overwhelmed by activities but to take God first before anything else came into place. She shared how true her Mother is. It was an emotional moment that felt so teary.

Psalmmy shared his experience with how difficult it is for him to make friends and how he finally was able to make one with a girl from his department. They grew fond of each other till he noticed that the girl started to withdraw. He tried reaching out to her but all attempts came to no avail. When he was finally able to reach out to her, she gaslighted him on the spot. Check out his post to know the full story.
Creativepearl shared her strategies for winning board games. She is a pro in ludo game but still manages to play very well in other forms of games. Although she mentioned that chess seemed to be her weakest point as she has not given herself time to learn the game, at least she still knows the basic moves of the game. Check out her post to learn the strategies she shared for winning board games like ludo, scrabble, and monopoly.
