I remember changing the front struts on my bmw, the first one took 3 hours and the second took 35 minutes.
It was a learning experience.
It was a one off, too.
I haven't changed another strut since.

If you're fine with not fixing things yourself, that's a personal choice and totally valid. But in my case, the problem was believing I couldn't handle day-to-day challenges, so taking action was essential for my mental growth. I'm going to write more about these small steps; it might encourage others to take their own initial steps.
