I WAS SCAMMED BY FAKE AI COACH___WEEK 240 EPISODE 01

I want to share my own experience with scammer. This one pain me well well.

It happened about 6 months ago. I was looking for skill to learn online. I wanted to learn AI automation because I see people making money with it on Facebook and TikTok. I said let me find coach to teach me.

I saw one lady online, she was always posting her lifestyle. She will post, "I made 200k today with AI automation" "My student made 150k" She dey show screenshots of money, cars, fine house. She said she will teach us how to make money with AI automation, no need for capital.

Her training fee was 15,000 naira. I said okay, let me try. I was thinking if I learn this skill, I will start making money and be on my own.

I chatted her on WhatsApp, she was replying fast. She said training will start next week, and she will add me to private group, and she will give me mentorship for 3 months. I was happy.

I paid the 15k. She sent me account number, I transferred. After I paid, she said "Congratulations, you have been added to the training group."

She added me to one WhatsApp group. When I entered the group, I saw like 180 members inside. But the group was silent. No message. Last message in the group was like 2 months ago.

I waited for one week, nobody talk. I chatted her privately, I said Ma when will training start? She did not reply. I chatted again, she read my message and did not reply.

After 2 weeks, I chatted again, she blocked me on WhatsApp. I was shocked. I used another number to chat her, she blocked that one too.

So I had to find way. I started chatting some members I saw inside the group privately. I chatted like 5 people. One man told me, "My sister, I have been in this group for 1 year, since last year, no teaching, nothing." Another girl said, "They added me 8 months ago, she just collect money and add you for group and disappear."

That was when I knew I have been scammed. It was not only me. All of us in that group, almost 200 people, we all paid money and she just dumped us inside group.

Till now, I am still in that group. For 6 months now, no teaching, no voice note, no zoom, nothing. Just silent group. If you talk inside group, nobody will answer you.

I could not recover my money. 15k may be small to some people, but for me that time, it was big. I borrowed part of that money to pay for the training because I thought I will make it back.

How I handled it? I left it. I started learning AI automation myself on YouTube for free. What that woman wanted to teach for 15k, I saw it for free on YouTube.

This kind of coaching scam is too much now. They will use fine lifestyle, fake screenshots to collect money from us that want to learn. After you pay, they will add you for group and block you.

Please if you want to learn any skill online, make sure you ask for proof of live class, ask for previous students, do video call before paying. Don't pay because of fine Instagram pictures.
