One of the facts about life is that we are not here to live forever; it's just a temporary abode, and that's a more compelling reason to take it easy with whatever we do in life.
Sadness, happiness, grief, and pain are all part of life. But there are times when we just encounter some unexpected circumstances, and in the end, it will leave a strike of heavy pain on us. Most times, these types of pains are always so heavy that we most of the time won’t have the ability to hold on to them as much; therefore, we want to make others feel what it is on us.
But seriously, things just don't get better if we keep inflicting our pains on others. There are times when the innocent will just have to suffer for the actions that are not theirs. Then imagine if everyone acted that way, how do you think the world would turn out to be?
I would say that those who are in this category really find it hard to take on the pain, but if they are to take revenge, then it should have been okay if they just took it on the person and not extended it to others who are not involved.
For example, a case where someone was a victim of a scam, he was so sure that he just couldn't avenge the scammer anymore because it would be so hard to reach them. Then they come to think that the best they can do is become a scammer and scam someone else, too. That's totally unreasonable.
For me, I will say those who get involved in this initially have the mind to do such terrible acts before; they are just waiting for a perfect time and an excuse to execute it.
Pain is part of life, just the same way happiness and joy are a part of life too. We can get people to sympathize with us, share our grievances and pains, just the same way we share our happiness with others, but the worst part of it is forcing it on others.
I installed TikTok back on my device yesterday. The first thing I got was the news of a popular fish farmer who met his demise. That was normal because people die normally. I later realized that the cause of his death was abduction, and then after the ransom was collected, they still unalived him. That was so cruel and an act of wickedness. But should that be a reason why his family or other farmers should retaliate and start abducting other people just to pour out their pain?
The cycle will just continue and keep growing, and in no time, there won't be peace in the world again. No one ever wishes to experience pain, but when it comes either naturally or from someone we least expect, the best is to make it stop and not extend to others.
For those who have done such an act, I just hope they can forgive and be forgiven. Because it’s not just about the forgiveness that matters, it's about the scar they will leave on such a person over time. Always difficult to erase.
This is my response to the HIVE LEARNERS weekly prompt in the hive-learners community for the Week 185 Edition 1, and the topic to be discussed is CIRCLE OF PAIN.
Pain is part of life, but passing it on to others only makes the world darker. Healing, forgiveness, and breaking the cycle is the only way peace can truly spread.
It’s just too inhumane to pass on pain. Yes, there are times when it is not done out of wickedness but that shouldn’t stop those who cause others pain from being accountable for it.

@hopestylist here!
You are right, Qudus. It’s unreasonable to want to take revenge on someone else for something caused by a different person. Doing such means you have wanted to try it out already and finding an excuse ground to make it happen. Healing is important and forgiveness doesn’t make you less of yourself, it only helps you take responsibility not to allow someone else experience the same thing from you.
