Natural Things Has The Taste Of Nature…

As a business owner in the agricultural field, I have come to witness many things that have made me think twice about the kind of products I want to put out there. There is this common slang we use, “organic,” when you hear the term in an agricultural setup, then it means getting those things natural and fresh.

Organic food is a product of organic material, that is, giving your animals or plants the natural space to grow and produce without the use of any form of artificial enhancement. I have always appreciated things that are natural. So getting involved with other kinds of synthetic aid is not a part of me.

For example, in the arable crop section, a lot of plants are being grown with fertilizers to speed up the rate at which they will produce their fruits. Then that's still a bit fair. Nowadays, we have enhanced seedlings that have undergone several lab tests in the laboratory, analysis, and in the end, give a result that proves to be more efficient and time-saving than the natural planting and harvesting method.

Gone are the days when you had to plant a coconut and wait for about 6 to 7 years before you could start harvesting. Nowadays, all you have to do is just get a treated seedling and then start harvesting in 2-3 years.

The earlier the better, but if we could only keep at that, there are sometimes when we should have just waited for those crops to mature before harvesting, but instead, a lot of farmers harvest prematurely out of fear of theft, or other reasons. Then, in the end, they get to find some chemicals to speed up the ripening effect.

All of these chemicals and systems give great and faster results, but in the end, they tend to leave some harmful impact on our health. So most people get to realize this and thereby always be on the lookout for something natural. So I don't blame those who practice a little gardening or backyard farming.

As a fish farmer, I have experienced a lot of customers complaining about the kind of fish they buy from the market. They buy fish that are full of fat, and in the end, they end up giving a bad look and taste after preparation.

These fish are fed with maggots, though maggots seem to appear natural, but an excess of them causes fat to pile up in the fish. On the farmers' end, they tend to be profitable, but on the end users ' end, it is not satisfying.

There is a huge gap between artificial and natural. Though the battle between both will surely continue as we can't do without both of them, we are gifted most things naturally, the air we breathe, our body circulatory system, the water in the ocean, the mountains, the sky and the clouds, reproduction, and much more, all happen to be natural.

As humans, we just have to make use of these natural resources to make ourselves. Then, from there, we get byproducts from them for our own use. We build houses with wood and sand, which are natural and a lot more. So, if I should conclude, I will say that both natural and artificial have their different uses.

This is my response to the HIVE LEARNERS weekly prompt in the hive-learners community for the Week 183 Edition 3, and the topic to be discussed is IS NATURAL RIGHT.

Very thoughtful of you.
Both definitely has their place, a balance is definitely needed, we shouldn't rely solely on the artificial has it has it's own effects and same goes to the natural too, it has it's own dangers too and it is also not always meeting up with demand.

Thanks for sharing.
