Oh, yes, indeed, and I've met and talked with many people like that. I can almost always tell if someone is a native speaker or not, usually by how they organize words, the pronunciation of some words, and their choice of words. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I assume that when someone who is not a native English speaker has studied foreign languages (including English) as a profession (where some of the possible jobs are authoring and translating) would appear to be a native English speaker to you and some others. 🤔🤓
