Talk about someone who hates stress, I'm that girl, that girl is me. I've always hated the stress that comes with physical shopping. So, when I saw the opportunity to shop in the comfort of your home, I grabbed on tight without hesitation. I started shopping online during my university days. My first time shopping online was for a new phone on Jumia, and my experience was smooth. I guess that gave me the guts to continue shopping online.

Over the years, I've had good and bad experiences online and I'm sure nearly all online shoppers can relate to it. I usually shop for my skincare products online, often via Instagram which is over-saturated with vendors that sell skincare products, so I’m always careful when placing an order. Fortunately, I have not had any major issues except for occasional delays in delivery.
The last time I ordered my skincare, I decided to try a new vendor “24 Eleven” because my usual vendor “Allure beauty store” didn't have the products, and their delivery service was disappointing. The delivery guy did the most annoying thing to me.
I live in an area on the border of two states (Lagos State and Ogun State), my address officially falls in Lagos State but the opposite side of the road is Ogun State.
On the day of my delivery, I was expecting a doorstep delivery, because that's what I paid for. However, the delivery guy told me he couldn't deliver to my house because my location was in Ogun state. I explained to him the situation in my area, emphasizing that my address is in Lagos. He told me there was nothing he could do and stood on the fact that he couldn't enter Ogun state. He stopped at the nearest bus terminal, forcing me to leave my house and go down there to pick up the delivery, even though I was very busy. I was the most annoyed person on earth that day.
I've also experienced the infamous “what I ordered vs what I got” tragedy. One time, I saw a shoe page on Instagram that sells shoes from different UK brands. I decided to order a pair of Ego official sneakers. Before I paid, I went through the Ego official website to check the price of the shoe, it was cheaper on the website. I believe she added her profit margin, which seemed fair, so I believed I was ordering the real deal, but Voila, I got the fake deal. However, I still wear the shoes cause I don't want my hard-earned money to be wasted.
Notwithstanding, I still love shopping online, it's just way more convenient, especially if you are shopping from the right online store.

Your last words said it all.
If you're shopping with a good company, it's very sweeeeet but when it comes to the ones that one needs to spend 1k airtime to beg for delivery. Omo!
