Staying organised most times feels overwhelming..there are endless notifications and social media updates and countless emails. If care is not taken one will lose track of important messages or information.
One of my biggest challenges is responding to messages and mail, with countless messages Pilling up every single day but I had considered an approach to help me thst that is setting time limits and organising my notifications .
I had a conversation with one of my mentors sometime ago and I asked her how she managed to do alot of things in one day like she is so organised and still has time for relaxation and fun. She gave me dew tips and an honesty test had helped me alot.
This is how I was able to keep my digital life on cheek
First is Prioritizing my time, i created a to do list of my daily activities I do this whenever I'm going to bed so once I wake up The next day I will start from the top to the bottom. In my to do list I schedule a time for every task . Like checking my email, social media making a posting and there is lunch break and other things. I use an app that helps keep track of my time online.
Secondly, I set boundaries. Like I set specific times of the day or week when I avoid screens.
Then I unsubscribe from unimportant or unwanted emails. This help me alot by reducing emails. I deleted some apps that will distract me from my main phone.
Ads then I practice digital self-care. I take break to reduce stress and anxiety, I created time for excerise and hobbies and time for me to hang out with me and spend quality time with my loved once
So I usually wake up around 6:÷30AM and start my day with a prayer after thst I move on to do my house chores then prepare and eat breakfast.
By 10 to 11AM I've already checked off sy least four task from Mt to-do list then by 12-1pm I will take a short break to relax and eat lunch
After thst I move to responding my emails from.to social media I try to keep my digital task structured throughout the day .Then I return to do another task until 6Pm
Then I go back to the kitchen to make dinner and freshen up then I make another to-do list for the next day ..
So with all these ny digital life is in check
