AI content ¿Dead content?

Content generated by Artificial Intelligence is beginning to gain ground on human content. Taking a similar trend to the Dead Internet.

It is understandably. For normal users and/or small businesses it is starting to be more efficient and faster to generate a medium quality video for social networks with AI than to do it themselves. The progress in some aspects has been exponential.

However, this situation should not be a problem. What makes it one is the diminishing capacity for logical reasoning and the lack of desire to verify data of most people. Nobody likes to admit that they are wrong, so the majority tend to consume and take for granted content that reaffirms their biases. Education and the search for truth are put aside in pursuit of complacency.

At the other extreme are some AI companies that are beginning to test moral and legal limits. The most recent and visible case is Grok (the AI of X, former Twitter) who began to satisfy requests from users who violated the dignity of other people. It was after the uproar that the AI owners announced measures to prevent it, although it is not entirely clear that they have done anything.

Perhaps future generations feel normal what we adults today consider a loss of authenticity. What is clear is that AI not only will eliminate technologically jobs, an important part of the quotas of models and influencers will be occupied by AI agents.

They do not age, they do not complain, they are very adaptable and can be recycled cyclically. In fact, there are already some of them and I'm sure many of their followers think they're real people.
