Is it a cup half-empty or half-full? Are pessimists the same as optimists, but with experience? Is there good in every bad, and every bad has some good? In my opinion, all this can be true, but the most important thing is how we see things, our point of view, our perspective... It's what describes us the best, and it's what defines our future actions, feelings, life...
While I was attending #HCDGraz, I had many talks with different Hivians, with newbies, less experienced, and with those who can be defined as pillars of HIVE! It doesn't matter how experienced you are, sooner or later, you will get to the point where you have doubts about what you are doing, how you act, and start thinking about what to do next... In those points, you will look at the glass and try to figure out whether it is half full or half empty... You have two choices...
I remember two specific conversations that I had recently... In one of them, the person had doubts in HIVE... Life is not fair, and in the same way, Hive is not fair either... Sometimes, your brother gets more attention from your parents than you do. The cashier in the store is always busiest in the queue where you are waiting, the teacher asks you ONLY when you don't know the answer, other HIVE posts get more upvotes/engagement than you, etc. The glass is half-empty...
On the other side, your brother became more dependent on others, can't find his "own way in life"... While you were waiting in the long queue, you had time to meet a nice girl with whom you had a nice talk (you wish that your cashier's turn never comes)... Because of your teacher, you are now always better prepared for everything, one step before the others... You focused your HIVE energy on people who care about your content and those you care about, you met some awesome people thanks to that... The glass is half-full!
When you search for a drop that will fill the glass, you will find the way... If not, you will empty the glass with negative views...
The other story happened a few months/years ago... The discussion was about another blockchain (not Hive), which was busy, attracting many eyeballs, money, and engagement... I saw a lot of potential in it, a lot of quality dapps built on top, and some great use cases that can help people in many ways... I was using those dapps every day, and I was making profits by doing that...
On the other side, there was a guy who told me how that chain is full of gambling apps, memecoins, and dead shitcoins in general... That there is no way that the chain can survive with so much junk built on it... Tbh, I was very much surprised with everything that he said as I didn't see anything like that on the chain at all!! When I was deliberately searching for those things, I could find them, but they weren't the MAIN purpose of the chain, but rather devs experimenting with different use cases...
What you search is what you will find... You can see the glass half full or half empty, but without the objective view, you will fall into an emotional trap and make a mistake... Having luck with investing is possible, but doing deeper research is always a bonus... It helps out with missing out on some big opportunities... Keep your options open...
Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...
This week, we have mined 90 BEE tokens in total!!! 8 more than last time!
We didn't get new delegators this week, but we got new delegations from old members! Thanks guys! Appreciate your support!
This POOL doesn't have fees, and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!
What about the bonus tokens?
This time, I'm distributing some CTPSB tokens as a bonus to delegators... I was distributing many different tokens in the past, but a lot of them went down a lot, and some got abandoned by their creators and the community... So, my "token rotation" got very narrow with only 5 different tokens... As I have written about many times, not sure what more I can tell about the CTPSB token, for example... It is a token that is backed up by HivePower, which makes it stable compared to HIVE... It grows in value because of the HP inflation, and some additional tools...
There will be distributed 2 CTPSB tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... 90 BEE tokens and 2 CTPSB tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 5.743%, and when we added the bonus, it went up to 6.927%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...
Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter, and we will find the best solution for both parties...
If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week, you will get your portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!
.:. DO NOT STAKE TOKENS TO MY ACCOUNT!!! Just DELEGATE! .:.
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!
You can find more about this pool in the initial post here https://ecency.com/hive-119826/@ph1102/workerbee-p-h-ool-let-s-help-each-other
Thank you for your time.

It is hard to understand that life seems to give more opportunities to others, but staying mentally healthy and working with love is the best way to wait for our moment. If we are on the right path, success will come sooner or later. I don't like to be one of those who sees the glass half full, I leave that to my husband, but my large doses of realism that once hurt me now I understand and embrace them, because thanks to those bitter moments other doors opened that were meant for me.
Regarding Hive, you have to learn to move in this world, my boy learned it and enjoys it and tries to seed it in me, that's why I'm here again, and most importantly, I can greet a good and dear friend like you after some time. Happy to read you!,
That's actually a very good thing! To have someone in your life to share a glass of water... One sees it half-full, the other half-empty... Both sides covered, and every time, at least one "wins"! 😃
Oh... Thank you very much for the greetings... It's always nice to see you here on HIVE, but I do understand that life can move us away from things we like... Also, we all have different priorities, and the day still has ONLY 24 hours! It would be great if it has at least 48... 😃
All the best!
Very profound insight! I think most of the experiences we experienced are neither good or bad, it's just how we react to it that determines whether it's perceived as good or bad. I personally think that when everything is said and done, viewing the glass as half full is way more beneficial to one's existence than seeing it as half empty. This ties to a saying I heard a while back: Have faith and fly or suffer like everyone else.
It's hard to think clearly in moments when we are hit hard by something bad, but the most important thing is how we react to that... Like you said, the following describes us the best...
That's an excellent idiom! I like it! It's hard to have faith in hard moments, but if you have, you will be the winner when it passes!
Sure! Tough times don't last, tough people do :)
I was born with a genetic condition, it affected the way I looked at life, but it didn't really do that much damage until I lost my parents and siblings. I get pessimistic most of the time, and 5 years ago, I was that guy that got people rolling in laughter with my jokes, now I can hardly even laugh, myself.
However, I think whether half full or half empty, our experience mostly determines how we take decisions and it also rewires our opinion and all that. For Hive, I'm optimistic about Hive, but I have places in real life where I just struggle.
You got hit hard by life, that's for sure... When you get multiple hits in a very short period of time, it's very hard to keep standing on your feet... And wounds need time to heal...
But, I bet you are in a better position than you were a year or two ago... after your worst period of life... You are here, still battling, and seeing your posts, it is visible to notice that you are getting the best of yourself, but also, inspiring others to do better... That's what counts the most!
Thanks for being here, spreading your thoughts, emotions, and showing your human side... We are not bots, we are humans, and this is "people's chain!"
Thank you. Although I talked about it so much in my posts, I've stopped now, just once in a while like yesterday when I replied to this post. True that I got hit very hard, and perhaps it has affected me a whole lot.
Again, thanks for the encouraging words, I stay motivation for my young family, they need me more, sometimes I don't do it for me, I do it for them because they'll be happy knowing I'm doing it all for them.

That's a good reminder. Hive is such a complex ecosystem even when you're here long enough and it all depends on how we certainly see things.
When you step back, somehow you find that "innocence" again and freedom that this place offers. I think it's by nature that the longer we are here, we can be too invested into the "politics of hive",the comparison, the wondering whether it's all worth it even the unfairness that this place actually has.
I recently found when I disconnected from all the noise, it feels so liberating. I found the why I was here and no longer find it exhausting to log in and logout.Maybe I grew out of the thing I have built, I don't know but you made a very powerful reminder above.
Let's be honest here... Despite not having written posts, you probably know a lot about HIVE... We have different people here, from different parts of the world, with different views, goals, etc.
I wasn't talking about stepping back (while that has its good sides too), but rather about getting into the "group" where you are useful, where you have friends, where it makes sense to help out and grow each other... We will never had the SAME opinions and views about the future of HIVE, but that's completely normal... That's how it should be... I can't be a good friend with everyone here, and to expect to be upvoted and supported by everyone...
But, I can make a change in my surroundings, where I like to be, with people that I value and appreciate... And by doing that, I will help the chain too!!! If everyone does that, we would have hundreds (or thousands) of communities doing good stuff for them, but growing the whole chain too... Even if they don't "communicate" with each other! How awesome is that?
Is that the definition of decentralization? 😃
Being in the group where you are valued certainly makes a huge difference. It's probably helping with retention too cause we simpy like to hangout with the people we're with. The same people knows your story etc and when things happen they're the one stepping up too. It's what I like about this place, sometimes you just need a good reminder that despite all the toxicity and drama, those thing exist.
And yeah, that's basically the essence of decentralization. You don't really have to agree with each other but at least still have a common goal and works toward it.
Yes, it's an interesting story, and I agree with it; the whole world around you depends on your point of view. The optimist-pessimist is only one aspect of how you create your world, but it is important. Thank you for the gift.
I really should invest some more :)
Sometimes, I would like to be more optimistic... I criticize a lot and very often, I see first bad things, and only after that, find good sides...
You're absolutely right, man. Life is a bit about how you look at it. I remember writing something about this before. When a spoiled brat grows up and faces the real world, he gets depressed and rarely succeeds. Whereas someone who gets slapped early in life is much more successful because they are prepared for everything and don't give up easily in the face of adversity.
You are right about learning from mistakes and learning from hard life lessons... Recently, I was reminded of a nice saying that goes...
Which is true in so many different ways...
I try to be realistic, looking for the Aristotelian balance.
Nothing wrong with being a realist... I would say similar to myself... But, I would like to be a bit more "open-minded"...
Hive is a perfect place for open your mind. I discovered the whole world here, we have the opportunity to learn about the different cultures and visit places that I couldn’t imagine to see.
Hehe words of wisdom! Yeah I always think we should focus on what we have and what we control and make the best out of it! Rather than focus on the negatives or what we cannot control.
Yeah, it sounds great in theory, and I always repeat the same words as you said... But, when real life kicks in, it's not that easy to hold onto those words! 😃
You're totally right about seeing the glass half-full everytime. I'm always looking for the good things in bad situations, and it also can be done in this crypto world.
Also, how can I get WORKERBEE tokens?
There is always some positivity, and it's easier to find it when we are surrounded by like-minded friends... ;)
And regarding WORKERBEE, you can buy them at the Hive-Engine or through dieselpools...
Thank you very much 😊
Thanks for the token.
instead of complain one need to adapt or move on.
But, but, but... It's easier to complain than to adapt... 😃
And you are welcome! 🙏
I say "better be ready for the worst than expect the best" 😅
I have to say that I was "educated" like that... My father was (and still is) a very negative person, which made me very cautious... It's not a bad thing to be over-cautious, but it does limit you from exploring more, and following "your gut"...
I think it just depends on what the person values. If they are aiming for money, and they aren't making enough of it, then they will complain. I think there are still good things out there, and you should consider those.
Thanks for running the pool and for the BEE/CTPSB tokens
It definitely depends on the goal and the "purpose" of doing it... Of course, there are good things out there, that's why we are here! 😃
Yehey thank you for the CTPSB!
You are welcome! 🙏
An ancient meme but still one of my faves...Optimist vs. Pessimist vs. Realist
Hahahahaha.. That's a good meme! 😂
Thanks for the Ctpsb tokens !
Hehehehe... You are welcome! You can never have too many of them! 😃
It's always a matter of perspective. And as you said, we all have doubts from time to time. It matters what we focus on and how we shatter those doubts instead of getting deeper into them, that is if we trust something enough to want to clear them. Sometimes trust itself gets shaken by doubts and needs reinforced. Not an easy thing to navigate, especially in bad times.
Definitely not an easy thing to navigate...
That is on spot! If we get "deeper into doubts," it's game over... Most of the time, we need an "intervention" with a different point of view... As we can't see the light of the dark that we created... and usually, we are biased...
