An interesting topic, for me is to be honest, it starts there.
I have been using AI for a long time, so far it is a work assistant, it does not supplant me, and it is being used in almost all fields.
The problem is not to use it but to know how to use it, you can write a paragraph and pass it through AI and ask it to give you ideas to continue building your story, then develop those ideas with your thoughts.

In my case I have generated images with AI and the creative process is everything that is done before creating the image:
The search for inspiration, the right words to create the prompt, the correction of those words, and guiding the AI to give me the image I want, in this process it can take about 30 generations to find the one I'm looking for.
Then I take that image to photoshop, where I alter the color or add images and give them my special touch manually.

If for example I tell him to make me a Picasso style cat, he is not going to copy any Picasso's work, he is just going to give me the style.

And therein lies the problem, because the works of Picasso are protected, but not the style. There we are in a legal vacuum.

What one does is not use artists in the Prompt.
And I am honest in saying use AI. because that is the other problem when it is hidden.

It is an interesting topic, as for your personal brand apart from money it takes consistency, trial and error, clear objectives in what you are looking for.
