I think if really depends on my state of mind, if I am in a good mood, and if I am lately happy with how much my posts made, it's easier to be engaged in other people content because there is no envy, whereas it's harder to engage when a post is making too much money. it's a really weird thing, I think when a post makes above average, the engagement rate decreases and you might even lose interest of people over time if you have a succession of well paid posts.
Truth is, I am more engaged toward the friends I grew relationships with on hive throughout the years, no matter what they release, I'll always support them 💯% , it's also difficult to be there for everyone all the time 😂
For me as a singer, the most famous songs get more engagement.

Hey @edprivat, thanks for the tag man and interested about this new token VYB... I think I qualify for some tokens from my staked POB.
Anyway to answer the initial question above, the three most important things for me are effort, authenticity and either relevance or humour. If it aint funny it better be relevant and if it aint relevant it better be funny! 🤣
As for commening on content, I'll always drop a note when I find sonething was a really good read, listen (songs) or view (photos) or if I am giving some advise to a noob.
