People do indeed change over time and for the better. Perhaps she needs more assurance from you to open up on such issues. It can sometimes be hard for our loved ones to understand we are hear for them even when we're preoccupied with our own situations.

It's true, sometimes I don't demonstrate this better, but I believe I'm evolving well, showing her that she can count on me. I think our relationship has everything it takes to work even better, we've been together for 10 years now haha, but there's always room for improvement
