Graffiti - Train Art
Hello everyone!
I was first thinking of putting this post in the Street Art community, but since it's on the train I decided to go with GEMS :) 😁
A few months ago the Open Railway Museum in my town got its latest acquisition, a disused intercity passenger train, class 311/315, known by the nickname 'Gomulka'.
These electric trains have been running on lines across Slovenia since the mid-1960s. When I was in high school, I used to take a train like this every week.
It is now parked here as a museum exhibit.
There is currently a very lively discussion about whether to renovate it completely or just the interior. As far as I am concerned, it should stay as it is.
As the exterior is very colorful, the whole train is painted with graffiti, I took some photos to remember it.
