Yeah. You are spot-on with this. I'm glad you shared your thoughts on this dicey talking point.
The thing is, when these people are already in the habit of going down such incorrigible paths, it's always hard for anyone to truly help them especially when they are not ready to overcome what they are facing.
Identifying when they are still at the early stage of adopting such habits can be very instrumental in helping such people.

They usually don't admit that they need help and for you to be able to help anyone, the person atleast should acknowledge the fact that he or she needs help
