Personally I am not a fan of celebrating my birthday in a grand way because it costs money.here.
Same here. As long as I can go to church and give thanks for another year of life, I don't need to celebrate in a grand way. A simple meal with my family is more than enough for me.

It's indeed a great way to enjoy hte birthday but for me it's normal as I enjoy my meal most of the time with my family and that's why I said it's mostly like a regular day for me.
Seems like we think about our birthdays in similar ways.
