Well, the human brain is wired for story. If we tell our stories on hive, and we get the stories of others fed to us, then it is just guaranteed that we'll value the time we spend on the platform.
It is probably the reason why podcasts are so popular. They're just stories being told around the camp fire, but the campfire is global.
Not all the stories are good, but they're stories all the same.
Intersting comment you made! Yes, it is a honor too, that other people listen to the own stories - there is so much competition with all things which ask for time. On- and off-chain.
I like podcasts too, when they have a worthy story; content I can profit from...
Thank you very much for brining the focus to some aspects. I really think about the story aspect right now... I mean I mostly see the entertaining aspect behind a story, but there is always the possibility to improve a story... The story we tell and the story we are.
Thank you very much once again! Great comment (and for sure with much more aspects I didn't saw until now)! Hive a great day!
Stories help us learn new things, too :) There's a whole book on the topic, written by a neurologist. I've read a fair bit of it, but it gets heavy... It is literally called "Wired for Story", and based on your post, I think that you would enjoy it.
