How to get smaller Hive projects funded: Call to action!
Last week I created a blog called: Ideas to get some smaller Hive projects funded.
In that blog I came up with ideas on how we could help projects that bring value to Hive.
The first one was a Shark Tank Community. This community should become a place where Hive Project owners can pitch their projects and Hive investors (everyone with a Hive stake) can find projects that are good for Hive to support.
The Shark Tank Community
I received a lot of positive reactions on the blog, so I decided to create the Shark Tank Community during the weekend. This blog
After I had reblogged the community myself and created a Snap post about it, quite a few Hivers subscribed to the community. I was happy to see more people like the idea of the community.
I also created the first pitch in the community for my own Topcomment Project. It is supposed to be an example for all other Hive projects which are very welcome to create their own pitch as well!
The #hiveproject hashtag
The second idea I had was to start using a dedicated hashtag for projects that benefit Hive; #hiveproject
When Hive projects are using this tag, all manual curators can easily find a list of projects they could give some upvotes. A lot of smaller Hive project could really use these extra upvotes to help their project to grow.
I'm inviting every Hive project owner to start using the #hiveproject hashtag on their update posts and every other Hiver to regularly check the #hiveproject stream when you have some manual votes to give. The Hive blockchain will benefit when these projects grow.
Call to action!
Hive is full of amazing projects that make our community stronger. I've started these initiatives, but it will only work when more people see them, start using them and support them. That’s where you come in.
Please help me to spread the word. You could reblog this post, write about it in your blog, tell Hive project owners they can use the #hiveproject tag or can write a pitch in the The Shark Tank Community.
And tell all stakeholders about the community and the hashtag in discord servers and during podcasts shows. The more people get to know about this initiative the more our Hive projects will profit from it.

I love this and have joined up, but it did take finding a working link to get into the community -- two of them are not working. But I pressed on because I rejoice to see ways for dolphins like myself to find and support the kind of projects I want to see on Hive without the noise that is around the DHF! Oooh, I love this ! I've been giving some serious thought to ways to get smaller projects funded... this looks more graceful than what I've cooked up so far, but I might make a post with my ideas in just so they can be picked apart, the good bits maybe used and the bad bits laughed at 😁

It's great to have a space to pitch those kind of things. I recently wrote one in HivePosh and got a few comments on it. But a dedicated community for these kind of ideas could help a lot. Though not a programmer, I still might just throw an idea in there (after carefully thinking about it), and maybe someone who does have the required skills finds it interesting enough to invest their time and energy in it.

Unveiling value-adding projects for Hive could be a new way to take the platform to the next level. However, I am definitely hoping that the shark tank community will be well-established as a top community as per today's unveiling decision. Your regular posts with your writing skills and beautiful language really inspire me.
However, the demand and skills I see from you to benefit the hive project more really helps to give us all more courage. We will definitely be able to take this platform to the next level. It would be good for us to use the #hiveproject tag and be well-known to everyone.
