Wow, I just found out about v4vapp—how does it work? I think I'm interested in setting aside a portion of the Hive rewards I receive to convert into BTC.

It works with the BTC Lightning Network, so you get a Lightning wallet or address and create a transaction for X amount; with v4v, you can send those sats by directly exchanging Hive or HBD for sats and then sending them to the address of your choice.
Thanks for the explanation, though I don't quite grasp the technical details you mentioned. I'll try exploring the v4v app first to figure things out.
