Hey! I'll just be quick as I'm just dropping by to make an announcement for the 12 days of VYB 😀
We will be looking to introduce a short-term pause from potential VYB Curation Project upvoting. It makes sense to have this as a scaling penalty depending on the percentage staked and liquidated, although the details are still not set in stone.
If it's something that is of further interest, it may be beneficial to head over to @scholaris's moderation proposal and there is also discussion about moderation on @notconvinced's post too.
Unstaking at this time has no effect on curation as the project and the conditions for the ignore list are still to be discussed and decided.

good to know that there are currently no penalties- I do feel strongly that having any sort of penalty for simply unstaking tokens is engaging in exactly the sort of behavior pob and vyb are trying to get away from on the main chain- controlling and limiting the rewards of others by powerful accounts- it's just a different group and different mechanism to do so here...
Voting of content should be simply to do with the quality of the content- nothing more.
