My Road to Alicante! 🇪🇸 Begins with a recap 🤠 ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Bald sind die Hiveopendays in Alicante, Spanien, ( https://hiveopendays.com/ ) und habe meine Reisevorbereitungen intensiviert welche schon im September begonnen haben.

Gestern hab ich einige meiner alten Bilder ausgegraben, denn ich war das letzte mal in Alicante 2012 bzw. 2013! Sicher wird sich vieles in all den Jahren verändert haben.

Eines gleich vorweg, die Bilder und das Video (Gif) wurden mit einer „Damals“ modernen kleinen digitalen Kamera aufgenommen: Samsung ES28 daher ist die Qualität auch mit den heutigen Handy Fotos nicht einmal Ansatzweise vergleichbar! Aber fürs Familien Album und zur meiner Erinnerung tut es!

The Hive Open Days in Alicante, Spain (https://hiveopendays.com/) are coming up soon, and I've intensified my travel preparations, which I started back in September.

Yesterday, I dug out some old photos, as the last time I was in Alicante was in 2012 or 2013! I'm sure a lot has changed since then.

Just so you know, the photos and video (GIF) were taken with a "then" modern little digital camera: a Samsung ES28. So the quality isn't even remotely comparable to today's cell phone photos! But it'll do for the family album and for my memories!

Anyway, to get you in the mood for the upcoming trip, and for future posts under the theme: My Road to Alicante! Perfect!

2012 war ich noch Beruflich in Alicante und konnten ziehmlich Zentrumsnahe in Alicante an der ADDA parken. ( Tour mit Georg Benson )

In 2012, I was in Alicante for work and was able to park quite close to the city center on the ADDA motorway. (Tour with Georg Benson)

So war es nahe auf die Santa Barbara zu gehen,
ist die Burg die weit sichtbar ist ( hab schon gesehen das es inzwischen einen Lift gibt! 😃 )

So it seemed natural to go to Santa Barbara Castle,
it's the castle that's visible from afar (I've already seen that there's a lift now! 😃)

Hier bin ich damals hochgegangen, bin gespannt ob es diesen Aufgang noch gibt ...

I went up here back then, I'm curious to see if this entrance is still there...

Manchmal schon eine leichte Steigung ....

Sometimes even a slight incline...

Aber dann die Aussicht geniessen ....

But then enjoy the view....

Die Ritter kommen mir bekannt vor, könnte fast Graz sein ...

The knights look familiar, it could almost be Graz...*

Ja auch die Pause musste damals auch noch als Junger Reiseamatuer sein ... 🤠

*Yes, even back then, as a young amateur traveler, I still had to take breaks... *🤠

Denke diese Promenade wird es heute auch noch geben ...

I think this promenade will still be there today...

Und solche Salamander, leider kenn ich den genauen Namen nicht, gibt es in Spanien zur genüge ...

And there are plenty of such salamanders in Spain, unfortunately I don't know their exact name...
