Honestly, I couldn’t agree more with your post. We can't be asking for more users and then start picking and choosing what kind of content they should share. Everyone uses Hive differently, and sometimes, the people who start off posting casual stuff end up becoming some of the biggest contributors.
I believe growth takes time, and numbers matter too, even if not everyone stays forever. I don't think it also makes sense for someone to determine another person input.

Well it happens here a lot. I saw from that particular comment that that person was probably just frustrated from how things are moving slowly. It's someone I respect a lot, and their input towards the chain, but that wasn't right coming from them.
Growth is growth, users are users, some will come and go, others will stay, but if someone doesn't come, then how can they even go in the first place?
You're right. It is just about those who think they have the best solution to every problem. Is that really the problem of Hive, and why it didn't grow as anticipated?
