A very apt question and an interesting topic. With your permission, I will share my opinion. The curation system, in my opinion, is really far from ideal. This is in general. Everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves in those communities where it is appreciated. There used to be a Community "Always a Flower", where people like me could publish their works. However, the Community was left without support and We are forced to look for a new niche for ourselves. It is difficult, and it is difficult to join a new community if you are not an old-timer on the platform. Therefore, I single out two problems for myself: there are not enough suitable Communities for publications (we need to adapt), and the second (maybe more curators are needed so that they can process a larger number of publications)? What do you think?

As @felixxx has said, we don't need more curators, we need the ones we already have, to be intentional. Curation is everyone's duty.
