This is to tell us that word is very powerful and go along way when we say it out, he might not really meant what he said and he might mean it, but so far he can say this out, people will think in a different ways and use different perspectives to look into his words. And as a big influencer, he shouldn't have said something like that, because he should know that he will have many followers looking upto him, seing him as a mentor and hearing this from his mouth, will definately make them be disappointed.
