RE: Splinterlands Recent and Interesting News: Custom Challenges, New Contests Rules, Inleo Partnership (ENG/ITA)

(edited)

Hi @ifhy I like to compare myself with those who have different ideas from mine and I also like to help others understand the mechanisms of Hive because I was also a new user and I also had a lot of difficulties in the beginning.

My first posts earned 0 rewards and didn't get the attention I thought I deserved but most importantly I didn't know Hive like I do now.

But my biggest mistake was that I only looked at and weighed the content of my posts against others then, also thanks to the advice of more experienced hivers I understood the way to grow on Hive and my results were getting better and better.

On Hive the content of a post is only one of the important factors because to grow on Hive the important elements are in my opinion:

  • content (minimum 500 words, original and possibly interesting content)
  • consistency in posting
  • interaction
  • propensity for staking
  • support for other authors
  • choice of communities in which to publish based on the content of the posts

If you do not give importance to each of these factors, it is not the fault of others or Hive but simply that you have not thought much about what Hive is and what is important to do.

To help you I looked at your activity on Hive and I hope you will appreciate my advice because it is only meant to help you

Growing up on Hive is not immediate and requires a lot of commitment especially of time.

  • Interaction
I try to write 20 comments per published post
If I don't read and comment on other authors' posts why should other authors comment on mine?
You have published 165 posts and wrote 479 comments
Your level of interaction is too low and you are not making connections with others

  • Support for other authors
I never delegate more than 25% of my HP and support more than 80 authors on a weekly basis
Why should others support me if I have no interest in supporting others?
So far you have received 1961 HP as support from the other Hivers but (probably you were delegating your HP before) you have supported the other authors with only 5 HP. But you complain that you do not receive support

You don't need to understand any more, unfortunately some people who abandoned this were right.

Growing on Hive is not easy and it takes time but it is very rewarding for me because I can write what I want and if my content is liked I can be rewarded.

Did those who left Hive find their fortunes elsewhere? Tell me so I can go too... :)

Hive is not perfect and has aspects to improve but do you know of other blockchain projects that allow you to be rewarded for writing content?

I hope you will find my advice helpful and I have shown you the path I followed from 0 HP to 75K HP.
It was not an easy or immediate path but it took me time and effort.
Are you sure you put in the same effort?

Will and can and if you put in the effort you will see that you will grow very fast but you have to focus more on yourself and not on others also because an account that started 5 years ago and has a major stake will most likely have put in a lot of effort in the past.

While people like me, even if they dedicate themselves to it, engage and create something, can't be entitled to the remaining 50%.

I honestly didn't understand here what you mean by 50%.
Explain yourself better

I understood what you indicated, the problem was that I delegated 95% of my HIVE POWER, and then I couldn't get the return for other authors, although I'm supporting other projects I think. Although the comments seem low, I think you could compare with other profiles in the same niche, I think I still have +50% of the comments than the others.

About the 50% I'm saying, it's about some people trying to dictate what to do with the earnings, I'm referring to the 50% Hive Power - 50% HBD post payment. Certain people tend to say what to do with the 50% in HBD.

Thank you for your attention. @libertycrypto27
