RE: Splinterlands Recent and Interesting News: Custom Challenges, New Contests Rules, Inleo Partnership (ENG/ITA)

After sharing about HIVE on Reddit, even commenting and receiving a few opinions, it now seems so obvious, HIVE really isn't an investment in itself. Returning to the fact that HIVE is the best choice for P2P transactions due to its relatively low cost, however, it seems that now you also “don't deserve” the 50%, whose remaining 50% already becomes HIVE POWER. Wouldn't it be better to punish those who only Power Down again? I'm wondering if I'll stick with this project in the long term.

Hi @ifhy I honestly don't understand your point of view
Hive is a DPOS = delegate proof of stake
Stake matters but everyone has full freedom to do what they want with their stake including voting or not voting or power up or power down.

Splinterlands is a Hive-based game and has received support from the Hive community especially with the SPL DHF proposal.
In your opinion if Splinterlands decides to reward and support more those who have medium to long term goals on Hive and those who have assets of Splinterlands is wrong? and why?

it seems that now you also “don't deserve” the 50%, whose remaining 50% already becomes HIVE POWER. Wouldn't it be better to punish those who only Power Down again? I'm wondering if I'll stick with this project in the long term.

This is not about punishing but incentivizing to support the ecosystem from which we receive support.

Do you think someone who has, for example, 0 HP but received 17K HP (author rewards) and has no Splinterlands assets should be supported in the same way as someone who has staked a good portion of HP and has Splinterlands assets?

No one is against power down but those who extract so much compared to what they receive objectively have no interest in Hive or at least not as much interest as those who choose not to extract or extract 50%.

I think you are a little confused and don't know the terms punishment, dpos and stake.
Is not giving an upvote a punishment for you?
While giving 0 support to the ecosystem is okay?

In real life if a person takes 300 but gives 50 back he is a selfish person to me. Is he a generous person to you?

Explain to me why if Splinterlands decided to reward people who do power downs but not too many powerdowns and have growth goals should be such a bad thing. I am curious

Hi @libertycrypto27
You don't need to understand any more, unfortunately some people who abandoned this were right. **No, I'm not talking about those crazy people who get Downvotes or are caught by Hivewatchers. But people who take the time to really be part of the HIVE ecosystem. After all, this is Web3 and Investment, right? But it's funny that people who don't interact with the blockchain at all, or rather even post topics in automatic mode and don't reply to those who comment, get so much reward. While people like me, even if they dedicate themselves to it, engage and create something, can't be entitled to the remaining 50%.

**And I've never done a PowerDown so far.

I really have a lot of people to thank here, as well as the curators who have always supported us, the Brazilian community and of course the gods unchained and gaming community. But the more you apply yourself in HIVE, the more you understand how “DAO” really works, not fair governance. A while back someone commented that you just had to “increase your HP” to be part of the governance, right. Let's compete against the whales that have been there since the beginning. That answer was so stupid that I should have saved it in an image.
