Nice, we have similar stakes at spl lol, I'm always holding around 7k to 8k sps and re-roll rents and sps rental to play modern... But also owns U$130-110 in cards. A gf Immortalis lvl 3 gives 58% APR (112 dec) and pays 20% of my card cost... I had a good amount of cl but sold most due to be near rotation.
I got into modern top 10 at some point using some few key untamed and full cl, and closed at most 30, but just turned way more tough against rebellion and tactics...
So my strategy is that I don't hold any risk and yield it's around double of my cost, including 2.2k dec weekly for 320k sps, giving 12x-10x from champ II-III. So I use for cash flow, if everything goes up so my weekly differential yield... I like to call it "current liquidity ratio > 1", if were to use some accounting indicator. It takes 5 min / weekly to renew bids, but some 2hrs/day playing...
It's not much but honestly, it's similar to a brazilian wage by time spent lol, I get to do something that is nice and scalable, win-win.
We have similar stakes and we both did the same with CL cards, but you clearly make much more money from the game than me 🤣
I never bored renting cards, so I always missed on a lot of good earnings... but tbh I never had enough time to play Splinterlands regularly and I feel much more comfortable now that I simply rent out everything. It's easier and requires little to no effort, so I gave up some earning but got back some free time, which isn't bad at all ahahah
Btw it would be cool reading a post about your strategy: I always find very cool reading about those who manage to break even with rentals and earn a bunch of extra SPS.

I guess a lot of people don't break even trying to over rent op cards... And that goes since untamed too. Gotta have some notion of cost/return over all leagues, it isn't so simple to scope out.
But honestly, to be a scholar is more profitable, I just like having own acc, and idk how these deals might outcome... I get to accumulate a full sb set from cl and near a full at this rb and gladius (need 7 more Quora to max), which already makes me able to keep playing later even if needing to downgrade the acc and already helps current ROA...
