Splinterlands - Social Media Challenge - A Quickest Battle!!!!

Happy Sunday mates and wishing you a great week ahead!!!

As we enter a new week, we are also entering into last few days before the Conclave Arcana edition is unveiled on 22nd of this month and I am sure you are all getting prepared for the same by accumulating the DEC? Well, me too and I am in the process of accumulating atleast 400K in order to buy 100 standard packs which cost 4K DEC each!!!!

It's still not clear whether there will be any discount or option to buy packs with vouchers like they did for Chaos Legion edition I think, but let's see, I will definitely look to buy 100 packs as a minimum and hope I get some good cards once the packs can be opened.

The Conclave Arcana edition is special because it has some new abilities getting introduced, but also exciting due to different types of cards are getting introduced like black foil cards, gold foiled arcane and black foil arane cards which are maxed out cards and will be with some unique number to be used as collectibles and should be something we can boast off.

We are still to have further details on all these and I am definitely looking forward to the new cards and the new edition!!!

Coming back to this week's Social Media Challenge, I am writing this Second blog for this challenge as I might not get a chance to write on Community Engagement Challenge as I am anticipating some work from my corporate job during the next few days and hence, thought of writing this Second blog on social media challenge itself!!!

Let me share the details of lineup, details of battle and other things as I share below:

Battle and Lineup:

This battle, I can say one of the shortest ones with just 12 MANA cost for this battle and as always, whenever I see a little league kind of battle, I went with water splinter with 2 of those monsters will be the Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit and my lineup including these monsters was as below:

Lineup:

1. Chaos Agent:

Since this was a battle with just 12 MANA cost with 3 cost used for the summoner, I used this 1 MANA cost monster at the front as this guy is not just dodge, he can phase and backfire too, so, all in all, if a monster misses to hit him, he will always hit them back!!!

He is always of great help to keep opponent's monsters at bay in such low MANA cost battles and he did the same in this battle as he stayed active throughout the battle.

2. Halfling Refugee:

I used this monster as a backup one as I had planned to use next 2 monsters with sneak ability and to be frank, this monster was not needed at all as the Chaos Agent didn't allow him to move to front position at all!!!!

This monster is definitely the one for the battles to come as he is with just 1 MANA cost and is a healing tank with nice enough health and awesome melee attack!!!

3. Uraeus:

As I mentioned above, I had planned to use this and Pelacor Bandit as sneak monsters and check the backend monsters my opponent had used and this ad next one didn't disappoint me as they got rid of all the monsters used by my opponent!!!

This monster is always special with poison ability and provides 3 melee attack for 3 MANA cost.

4. Pelacor Bandit:

Like above one, this guy is also a good monster for 3 MANA cost and he being a flying monster, always have the chance to evade attack from melee and ranged attack monsters.

For 3 MANA cost, it gives 4 melee attack and is among the early attackers as he got 6 speed!!!

5. Torrent Fiend:

Last on the lineup is this Zero MANA cost monster from Chaos Legion edition and this monster is with melee attack if needed and has the ability of headwind to reduce the ranged attack on other side.

I always use it in backend as he can take on sneak attack and keep other monsters safe for a round or 2.

So, with that lineup, I fought this battle in such a way that, my opponent could just remove the Torrent Fiend monster alone and all the monsters used by my opponent got removed with sneak attack from Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit and here I share few screenshots from the battle as always to show how the battle actually went.
