Good day friends, it's a brand new Monday and a new start to the week!!!!

Hoping that your weekend was good and you are ready for the new week with lots of energy. Well, it was a great week for me with time spent well on a music concert at my son's music school and happy to hear some melodious songs sung by students.

This week will be a great opportunity for me to recover the lost ground as I wasn't that active over last week due to my office work and this week is definitely a great chance for me cover some of those lost opportunities.

I want to be as much regular as possible and write a blog everyday.

This week's Community Engagement Challenge is something special as there is a new task as part of the challenge and that is, to write about Legends in the Making! to write about our journey on Splinterlands so far and I am more excited to write about my journey on Splinterlands starting from purchasing spell book and 5 packs way back when Splinterlands was initially started!!!

How did you discover Splinterlands?

Way back in 2018 when Splinterlands play to earn cards game was started, I was still a newbie on Hive blockchain (Steem it was by then) and I wasn't sure whether to join or stay away from this game as it was something new started by Aggy and Matt and with all courage, I brought in the spellbook and 5 Alpha packs as I was having that much Crypto only as the spell book costed $5 and each of those 5 packs costed $2 each!!!

So, I gathered some courage and took a decision to invest my hard earned Crypto (earning even in cents was difficult as I was putting my initial steps on this blockchain) and there was no turning back after that as I kept on investing my Cryptos (Hive and HBD) into buying packs and cards.

I think Untamed and Chaos Legion editions were the biggest investment editions for me as those airdrops attracted me and encouraged me to buy packs in 100's or I think I brought more than 1000 packs although the cost was increased and I see that, my account is worth $8K+ although this is not the actual amount as I have transferred excess cards to my alt accounts which are given to my cousins and relatives and they are working on those battles happily.

What was your first card or most memorable early battle?

Well, I am someone who loves the magic monsters and when I First saw Ruler of the Seas when it was First introduced as reward card, it was very fascinating and owning even a single BCX of this monster was worth million smiles as it was I think the First magic card with blast ability and it was a great feeling to battle with this.

Soon, I maxed it out and playing with that even now makes me feel like a proud battler!!!

How has your strategy evolved since you started?

Well, what started with some random cards usage without knowing which card will work in what way, I can say we all have come a long way with each of those editions giving something extra as compared to the previous editions.

When Alpha and Beta versions were introduced, it was just normal cards battle, when Untamed edition was introduced, it was an advanced version of a bit of animation with cards and many new rule sets and abilities introduced, it was further fascinated the game play.

The Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers and Rebellion editions took it further with those pre battle strategies based on opponent's cards and it keeps evolving and I am sure the Splinterlands team will never disappoint and we can surely expect something new in Conclave Arcana edition proposed to be introduced soon.

What are your goals in the game now?

Well, planning to buy atleast 100 packs from Conclave Arcana edition and also planning to expand the land thing as I currently have 5 plots and all of those are natural and want to include atleast One each which produce iron, wood and rock so that, I can use the grains I produce now and make the most of those.

More hope is on Conclave Arcana edition to have more wins and earn more Crypto.

When I look back at my journey on Splinterlands, I never thought I will spend $8K worth Crypto to buy cards and packs, but I have done that without me giving much thought of about and I am sure it will continue as we grow bigger here and earn more Crypto.

Hoping that Conclave Arcana edition will make it even bigger.
